“Fear thou not; for I am
with thee. Be not dismayed; for I am thy God. I will strength
thee; yea, I will help thee.” Deuteronomy
31:8
Sometimes
a loved one may drift away from friends, family, and God;
they may try to fill that empty space with drugs or alcohol.
Others watch in frustration as the person sinks deeper into
addiction or alcoholism. How can friends and family help them
to realize what has happened and to find their Christian path
again?
Our counselors help arrange and conduct
a Christian intervention, which is a time for friends, family,
and fellows to openly express their concerns about their loved
one’s substance abuse and encourage them to seek assistance.
Our job is to help them see how their use has affected their
lives, the lives of those around them, and their relationship
with Christ.
If
you know someone who is experiencing a problem with drugs
or alcohol, we encourage you to call us today. A Christian
intervention may be the first and most important step to recovery
from addiction.
